Airtel launches Telugu SMS

Hyderabad, June 8

Airtel on Friday announced the launch of an SMS option in Telugu for its customers in Andhra Pradesh. This new service is aimed at addressing the desire of customers wanting to communicate in their mother tongue. It is estimated that this feature will benefit about 85 per cent of Airtel customers in the State. A press release said a large section of its customers love to communicate in Telugu.
