Bharti Enterprises announced the appointment of Mr Inder Walia as Group Director, Human Resources - Bharti Enterprises, effective August 6. Mr Walia’s responsibilities will primarily encompass Human Resources and Integration for Bharti Group. He will also be a member of the Bharti Management Board. Mr Walia has been the Executive Vice-President of Human Resources at ArcelorMittal and a member of the Group Management Committee. He played a significant role in due dili gence and successful integration of all acquisitions done by Mittal Steel over the past 8 years in Americas, Western & Eastern Europe, Africa and Central & South Asia.
