Reliance Money unveils mobile financial portal

Mumbai, Sept. 14 Reliance Money today became the first financial intermediary in India to provide information on financial market across mobile platforms.

It announced its tie-up with Webaroo Inc, to unveil “Mobile Financial Portal”, a first of its kind portal, offering a range of financial services and information to its investors, across all telecom operators.

Webaroo is the creator of fast and free access of the Web on mobile devices.

Reliance Money is looking at reaching around 200 million telecom users with its range of free services.

said that the service is free of all costs. It is available to all mobile users. With the portal, users can access information on quotations, price of desired stocks, market commodities, previews, information on equities, announcement made on the BSE and NSE etc.

“The portal, with its rich contents and advance graphics, is cached on the user’s mobile handsets for facilitating quick and seamless experience irrespective of network connectivity. Our market leading technology provides a scalable platform for content delivery on a variety of handsets while also enabling advertising opportunities for advertisers,” said Mr Beerud Sheth, Co-founder and President of Webaroo.
