Software States - Kerala IBS opens campus at Technopark Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 22 IBS Software Services, a leading global provider of IT solutions to the global travel, transportation and logistics industry, opened its fully-owned campus at Technopark here on Monday. The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, inaugurated the Rs 125-crore facility. Present on the occasion were Mr Oommen Chandy, Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly; Mr C. Ajayakumar, Secretary- IT, Kerala; Mr N. Radhakrishnan Nair, CEO, Technopark; and CEOs and heads of various companies in Technopark. “This marks a beginning for the next level of our aggressive growth plan that targets a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore over the next three years. We have plans to set up other campuses in Kochi and Kozhikode and development centres outside the State,” said Mr V. K. Mathews, Chairman and Managing Director. FacilitiesThe facility just opened is the first of four blocks in the campus spread over 5.26 acres of land within Technopark. With a built-up area of approx 4.5 lakh square feet, the campus will accommodate over 4,000 professionals in a spacious, self-sufficient, modern work-environment. Two multi-storey office blocks, an activity centre, an open-air theatre, cafeteria and parking lots will be completed in the next phase. The campus is expected to cost Rs 125 crore and will be completely operational by 2009. IBS has developed the campus under the SEZ scheme as an approved co-developer.
