Dubai college setting up KPO centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Nov 2 The Dubai-based eTQM College will set up a Content & Software Development Centre (CSDC) in Hyderabad.

The college, a Government of Dubai entity, had entered into an agreement with C&K Management for co-operation and joint ownership of the proposed centre.

The CSDC, to be opened on December 1, 2007, would provide total quality management and e-learning services to eTQM, Mr Mansoor Al Awar, Vice President of eTQM College told newspersons here on Friday.

The college would need huge content and software support as it would be upgraded to university from January, 2008, he added. “Functionally it will act as a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) centre.”

Mr Muralidharan, Managing Director of C&K Management, said the centre would begin operations with 24 professionals on the premises of C&K Management here.

It would provide back-end support for the college by developing e-learning software, academic programmes, and content . “We will also offer e-learning and placement advisory services.”
