Wipro, ATG tool for Futurebazaar

Bangalore, Nov. 12

Futurebazaar.com has announced Wipro Infotech and ATG as implementation partners for the next generation of its Web site. The ATG Commerce suite from Boston-based ATG (NASDAQ: ARTG) will be used, while Wipro Infotech will provide design, implementation, integration and sustenance of the system. The solution also uses Sun Java Caps as the integration middleware to FutureBazaar’s SAP backbone. The ATG Commerce suite will allow FutureBazaar to offer a more flexible, mor e intuitive shopping experience to its customers with a host of new value-added features such as affinity-based recommendations, gift registries and personalised storefronts. “Wipro combines diverse worldwide experience on e-commerce practices with specific ATG competency and the ability to integrate with our SAP backbone,” said Mr Sankarson Banerjee, CEO, Futurebazaar.com, in a release. —
