Professionals join hands to produce a music album

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Jan. 6 Two city-based professionals — a chartered accountant and a software techie — have joined hands, to come up with an unlikely product, a music album in Telugu called Nuvvo Kala (You are a dream).

Nuvvo Kala, is an audio production, based on simple real-life situations.

Mr Ranganath Parankusam, a financial services consultant and CA with a role as board member in a few start-up firms, is the producer and advisor to the music album. Mr Ashwin Palaparthi, a technocrat-entrepreneur, is the conceiver, music composer and the lyricist of Nuvvo Kala, which is also referred to as ‘You are like that’.

Private production

The duo claims that the foray into music was driven by the passion to promote private music production in Telugu, which is in the nascent stage. The emphasis is on original contributions and the best use of audio technologies.

“There have been remixes, but not much in the line of work we have taken up,” Mr Palaparthi, who returned from the US and worked with leading IT companies, and has now turned entrepreneur in the technology area, said.

They have tied up with Vel Records to market the album across the State.
