New Products & Services Discovery Atlas premieres on Jan 26 Our Bureau New Delhi, Jan. 23 Discovery Channel is showcasing a Discovery Atlas, ‘a portrait of the world’s greatest and unique nations seen through the lives of their extraordinary people’. The channel claims the programme is one of the most ambitious high-definition projects ever commissioned, promising to create visual record of the history, civilization, geography, industry, technology and people of the world. The series was recently launched in India in the presence of the Ambassadors and High Commissioners and senior diplomats from the countries showcased. They included Mr Antonio Armellini, Ambassador of Italy to India, Mr John McCarthy, Australian High Commissioner to India, Mr Sehloho Francis Moloi, High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa and Mr José Carlos Fonseca Jr Chargé d’Affaires, Embassy of Brazil in New Delhi.
