Hyderabad, March 5 Introducing iStore – its latest retail format in Andhra Pradesh, Reliance Retail has announced that the company is planning to open 50-60 such stores across the country in the next 18 months.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr Ajay Baijal, President and Chief Executive (Consumer Durable IT and Telecom), said the company would open 150 Digital format stores in tier-I and II cities.

While iStores would sell the complete range of Apple products, Reliance Digital outlets will sell a wide gamut of electronic consumer goods.

Stating that there was a huge demand for Apple products in India, he said there was no outlet for consumers to get access to the complete range.

In Andhra Pradesh, iStores would come up at Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada in the next few months.
