DQE, Pritish Nandy Comm tie up

Hyderabad, March 19

Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) and animation and gaming company DQ Entertainment (DQE) have announced a move to co-develop and co-produce six movies over the next 3-4 years with a global budget of approximately $45-50 million. The films will be in animation and live action and each project will be separately announced once the global co-production budgets are closed. The Chairman and CEO of DQ Entertainment, Mr Tapaas Chakravarti, in a statement said: “We believe that Bollywood offers many exciting opportunities for co-production. The animation and gaming market in India is about to explode and this partnership will explore new business.” The Chairman of PNC, Mr Pritish Nandy, said “DQE and PNC together can do a whole new range of exciting things with creative and commercial opportunities.”
