People Variety - Sports Aamir Khan among Olympic torch bearers Our Bureau New Delhi, March 25 Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will be holding up the torch for all that is good and great about beverage maker Coca-Cola and for all that is noble and virtuous about the Olympic Games. The actor is the brand ambassador of Coca-Cola, which is the global partner of the Beijing Olympics 2008, and will carry the torch when it passes through India. The others who will get their hands on the Olympic torch as it passes through India are Dr Kiran Bedi, Dr Narayan G. Hegde of Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation, World Wildlife Fund of India’s Secretary General and CEO, Mr Ravi Singh and Coca-Cola’s President and CEO, Mr Atul Singh. Environment champion working at the grass root level, Mr Y. Subhash Chandra Reddy, is also amongst the torch bearers who will run through New Delhi when the Olympic torch, on its cross-continent journey, arrives here on April 17.
