IT-enabled Services Netmagic to offer remote infrastructure monitoring Our Bureau Mumbai, June 19 Managed IT services provider Netmagic Solutions plans to offer remote infrastructure monitoring and management services to Indian companies. To serve the small and medium enterprises, Netmagic will offer innovative pricing models such as ‘pay per device’ arrangement, said Mr Sharad Sanghi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, adding that the company is also targeting large customers and enterprises for its RIM offerings. Mr Nitin Mishra, Head (Product Marketing), said that Indian firms could bring down the management cost by about 40 per cent by outsourcing their infrastructure management needs to players such as Netmagic. The domestic market is largely untapped from a RIM perspective. Though there is no published study on the RIM market potential in India, there are about 1 million enterprise-related IT devices in the country that need to be managed; the cost of managing one device could be in the range of Rs 5,000-Rs 30,000, said Mr Udayanathan P.V., Vice-President (Global Sales).
