Pix to telecast FA Cup live

Mumbai, Sept. 29

Pix, part of Multi Screen Media Pvt Ltd, has bagged the official television rights in India to telecast UK's most popular football tournament, the Football Association Challenge Cup, popularly knows as the FA Cup. Matches will begin airing live on Pix, MSM's premium English movie channel, starting November. As part of the agreement between MSM and the Football Association, Pix will also have the rights to air a series of England international matches in which the senior national team will attempt to qualify for World Cup 2010 and European Cup 2012. - Our Bureau
