Jerry Rao quits EDS

Bangalore, Sept. 29

Mr Jaithirth (Jerry) Rao, Chairman, EDS Asia Pacific Advisory Board and founder of MphasiS, has decided to resign from the company to pursue his personal interests, the company said in a statement.

Mr Rao, the founder of MphasiS, was its Chairman and Managing Director from 2001 to 2006. He continued as nonexecutive Chairman of the Board till early 2008. He also led EDS' operations in India as Vice President from 2006. - Our Bureau
