Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Nov. 3 Nasscom, the national body of IT and IT-enabled services companies, would host the sixth edition of ‘Nasscom Animation and Gaming India 2008’ here from November 5 to 7.

Being held at a time when the IT industry is facing a bad patch, the conference would chart out the roadmap for the future and “breathe confidence” into players who wish to generate content original content.

The event would have an exclusive session called Super Pitch to showcase the ecosystem the country built over a period of time to offer indigenous content. “As the ecosystem evolves and the tempo of original content creation increases, for any project to be greenlit depends on how well it is thought through and pitched to the stakeholders such as broadcasters,” Mr Biren Ghose, Chairman of Nasscom’s Animation and Gaming Forum, said here in a press release.
