Catura into education vertical

New Delhi, Nov. 21

Backed by a private equity infusion of $3 million (Rs 15 crore), Catura Broadband Systems is looking to enter the education vertical. The company, which introduced education resource portal TopChalks.com, said students can access the content by paying Rs 99 per chapter. Catura has also signed an MoU with chipmaker Intel Technologies India and has joined Intel Powered Classmate PC WW Alliance Partner programme to offer Catura’s e-learning solution on Classmate PC. The company had received venture capital funding earlier this year from Draper, Fisher and Jurvetson. —
