UTV to sell Walt Disney movies

Mumbai, Dec. 9

Walt Disney Company India and UTV Motion Pictures have announced that beginning January 1, 2009, UTV will be handling sales and distribution of all of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' Hollywood releases in India. Disney will continue to handle its own marketing. The announcement was jointly made today by Mr Mahesh Samat, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, Walt Disney Company India; Mr Anthony Marcoly, President, Sales and Distribution, Walt Disney Motion Pictures International, and Mr Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO, UTV Motion Pictures. - Our Bureau
