For the year ended March 31, 2009 the company’s net profit increased to Rs 9.63 crore compared with Rs 2.22 crore in the previous fiscal. Revenue increased marginally to Rs 120.48 crore (Rs 120.10 crore).

The higher net profit was due to a cost savings of around Rs 7.5 crore by way of ‘rationalising senior management structure’ and by making non-billable senior management ‘billable’.

The company also made better utilisation of employees, he told newspersons.

Mr N.K. Subramaniyam, Executive Director, Saksoft, said growth would come mainly through growing revenue from existing clients, by virtue of expanding offerings and adding new customers.
