Uptrend continues in rubber market

THE rubber market improved on Monday. The purchase agents and covering groups continued to quote higher. Buying from the general rubber goods sector was also reported from the trading circles.

All the grades except RSS 5 improved as the low arrivals accelerated the upmove. RSS 4 moved up to Rs 57.25 a kg from Rs 57 on Saturday.

The rubber futures showed a weak trend on Monday.
