Global News / Markets Asian markets slide MUMBAI: The Asian stock markets fell sharply on Thursday. The reason for this according to analysts is the very high oil prices - above $124 a barrel. The Nikkei fell 287.92 points at 13,655.34. The Hang Seng in Hong Kong dropped 411.73 points to 25,038.06. The ST index of Singapore slid 23.02 points at 3,148.
