Yahoo launches new service

MUMBAI: Internet company,Yahoo! India on Thursday announced the launch of Yahoo! Search Marketing platform for advertisers to do more with their campaigns and gain a higher return on their investments by targeting relevant customers.

"This new product from Yahoo comes with enhanced tools and capabilities for advertisers. With this product, the quality of the advertisement can be judged prudently according to their relevance," Mr Prashant Mehta, Vice President, Yahoo Inc said.

With this product, clients can create an ad quickly and figure out whether it is relevant or not with the audience, he said. Yahoo is adopting a new ranking model that rewards advertisers for focusing on the things that improve a search user's experience .

"Yahoo's new technologies and features encourages more participation in the growing area of search advertising to make us a must-buy in advertisers marketing mix," Mr Mehta said.

"We are very excited to introduce this new platform, which makes it easier for marketers to understand the performance of their campaigns and experiment more frequently with the new medium," he said. - PTI
