Mobile fun

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS INDIA Information and Telecommunication has launched a colour screen CDMA IX mobile phone called Rainbow (SCH-A563). It is a Java-enabled phone with user interface optimised for multimedia applications and to allow the consumer to enjoy facilities such as video streaming, gaming and live news. It is also claimed to have a large 128x160 pixel LCD 11-line 4096 colour screen, and a 40-polyphonic sound system. The instrument reportedly weighs only 95 gm and also supports Hindi SMS. Rainbow would be available only through the Reliance India Mobile showrooms across the country.
