Maiden offer from Fidelity MF

  • Prudential ICICI has been allowed to introduce separate sub-plans for foreign institutional investors under the following schemes — Prudential ICICI Discovery Fund, Prudential ICICI Power, Prudential ICICI Growth, Prudential ICICI Flexible Income Plan and Prudential ICICI Liquid Plan. These sub-plans will not have separate portfolios but will have separate net asset values. The costs charged to these sub-plans will also be different from that charged to regular plans.

  • Birla Mutual Fund has announced that lateral shift from Birla Cash Plus to equity schemes and balanced schemes will from now on be subject to an entry load of 2.25 per cent.

  • Birla Mutual Fund has announced March 23 as the record date for declaration of dividend for Birla Advantage Fund. The fund completed 10 years since inception at the end of February 2005.

  • Birla Fixed Term Plan - Series C is now open for subscription and closes on March 22. This close-ended scheme is scheduled for redemption after 15 months.

  • Fidelity Mutual Fund, one of the America's largest mutual funds, has launched its first initial public offer. The offer opens on March 21 and closes on April 19. On offer is a diversified equity fund and the manager has proposed to invest in as many as 75 stocks.

  • Cholamandalam Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 10 per cent under Chola Midcap and Cholamandalam Growth. The record date for the mid-cap fund is March 14 and that for the growth fund March 28.

  • UTI-Children's Career Balanced Plan has declared a bonus in the ratio of 1 unit for every 10 units held. The record date for the bonus is March 31.

  • Kotak Mutual Fund has planned to launch Kotak Focussed Fund while Principal Mutual Fund has announced the launch of Principal Nifty Junior Fund, a mid-cap scheme.
