Sharjah co picks Cordys tool

HYDERABAD: Cordys Asia, formerly Vanenberg, has been chosen by the diversified Sharjah-based International Foodstuffs Company (IFFCO) group, to deploy Cordys Business Collaboration Platform that will modernise IT infrastructure and streamline its business processes.

With 16 companies, IFFCO would Cordys Business Collaboration Platform to achieve integration between applications and business processes and to collaborate with suppliers and business partners in order to reduce latency in business decisions.

Mr Venkatesh Mahadevan, Chief Information Officer, IFFCO group, in a statement said: "We want to leverage the investments made in ERP and are looking at developing new functionalities in line with the business needs that are currently not available in the ERP system. We will start the first phase of Cordys rollout with business process automation of our purchase processes. IFFCO sees Cordys as a strategic partner to meet the exacting needs of business."
