World of Food India 2004 fair in Hyderabad

Hyderabad , June 24

WORLD of Food India, organised by Koelnmesse Germany and their Indian subsidiary CIDEX Trade Fairs Pvt Ltd will be held in Hyderabad during December 10-13, 2004.

The 4-day event is being supported by Apeda and CIFTI, two of the industry associations for the food sector would be organised at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. With the international food industry eyeing India as a potential market, the exhibition could be a good draw said Dr Matthias Winter, Managing Director of CIDEX based in India.

Dr Matthias, who joined CIDEX India recently said at least 8 more international fairs have been lined up in Hyderabad (7) and Mumbai (1) during the current financial year.

Some of the trade fairs lined up are Indpak 2004 on Packaging Industry ; Sweet & Snack Factory; International FoodTec; Dairy Universe, all during September 10-13, 2004 in the HITEX Exhibition Centre, he told newspersons on Thursday.

While Build India, 2004 and World of Food India would be held during December 2004 the Essen Welding India 2005 and Tube India International 2005 have been scheduled for February 2005.
