A.K. Sinha heads BSNL

New Delhi , Sept. 16

SENIOR Indian Telecom Service officer Mr A.K. Sinha today assumed charge as the new Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

He replaces Mr V.P. Sinha, Director (Planning), who had assumed additional charge as the interim Chairman of the state-owned company.

Mr Sinha is a 1967 batch ITS officer and was senior Deputy Director General at BSNL's corporate office, prior to his appointment, a BSNL release said.
