DDA offers residential plots for NRIs, PIOs

NEW DELHI: In line with guidelines approved by the Reserve Bank of India under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced that Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) are liable to participate in its auction of 105 residential plots in South Delhi in October.

Under this auction programme, public and private sector banks have also been allowed to participate constructing residential buildings for their employees, a DDA release said.

The auctions of these plots would take place on October 18, October 20 and October 26. Out of the 105 prime residential plots identified for auction - 92 plots are in Jasola, nine in Green Park, two in Safdarjung Enclave and one each in East of Kailash and Saket.
