ISB leadership meet planned on Dec 10

Hyderabad , Dec. 9

THE Indian School of Business will host the India Leadership Summit on December 10.

Speakers cutting across business streams will interface with students of the class of 2005 on managing current day business challenges.

Mr Srinivas Shenoy, Mr Gunjan Bahl and Mr Samar Khan, all students of Class 2005 said the summit is a tribute to the late Sumantra Ghoshal, renowned management guru and one of ISB's founding fathers.

As a tribute to his philosophy and his vision of `World Class in India,' the India Leadership Summit 2004 will focus on World Class in India.

"Dr Ghosal is close to our heart. We miss him a lot and have therefore chosen a topic close to his heart," they said.

Speakers are drawn from various industry segments and include Mr G.V. Prasad from Dr Reddy's Labs, Mr Habil Khorakiawala of Wockhardt, Mr Pramod Bhasin of GECIS, Mr Alan Rosling of Tata Sons, Ms Rajashree Birla and Mr R.C. Bhargava, former MD of Maruti.

The summit is spread across four sessions addressing areas such as how select Indian companies have achieved world-class competencies.

Others relate to Managing Radical Change and Business as a Force of Good — one of Dr Ghoshal's most celebrated quotes on corporate social responsibility and the increasingly important role of business in society.
