Microsoft's student contest

BANGALORE: Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd said that it is organising Imagine Cup 2005, a worldwide competition designed to provide an opportunity for students to explore technological and artistic interests outside the classroom.

The contest is open to both school and university students. , and among other areas students are encouraged to submit applications that address social issuesRegistrations are now open and the elimination rounds will end on March 1.

The India winners will go on to compete in the world finals being held in Japan in July, for a total prize of $2,15,000. Students can register to participate in the contest at www.imaginecup.com, the company said in a press release.
