Channels and Franchises SS Music in pact with Dish TV for distribution Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 15 THE Essel Group-promoted direct-to-home (DTH) platform, Dish TV, has signed an agreement to distribute Southern Spice Music (SS Music), a multi-lingual music channel, which plays English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi songs. In a statement, Mr Sunil Khanna, CEO of Dish TV, said, "Inclusion of SS music strengthens the Tamil entertainment on Dish TV for the city viewers. It makes for a complete entertainment solution for the people in Tamil Nadu, giving them the opportunity to upgrade to a superior entertainment experience with the power of choice." Mr Santiago Martin, a promoter of SS Music, said, "Dish TV in a short span of time has shown impressive growth in penetration and has emerged as the largest distribution platform in terms of number of channels carried as well. Thus, we are delighted to be part of Dish TV bouquet."
