New Delhi, Aug. 8

NON-CABLE households will not be able to watch the finals between India and Sri Lanka on Tuesday as Ten Sports, exclusive rights holder of live telecast of Indian Oil Cup triangular cricket series and Prasar Bharati have failed to reach an agreement.

According to top Prasar Bharati officials, "We have been unable to come to a mutually agreeable arrangement."

This was also disclosed to the Supreme Court during the hearing of a petition filed by Ten Sports seeking transfer of a PIL pending before the Kerala High Court for grant of telecast rights to DD for the benefit of millions of cricket lovers in India.
