Kanbay carves out innovations group

Kanbay plans to pool in resources from across the company, which would also include domain experts bringing in cross-functional expertise to the innovation centre.

Hyderabad , Aug. 11

KANBAY International Inc, Nasdaq-listed technology solutions provider for financial services sector, has carved out a separate group to handle innovation and create an environment to harness the collective power of its workforce.

The Executive Vice-President of Kanbay, Ms Aparna Katre, based in the US, told Business Line here that the group would focus on innovation across various company locations.

Ms Katre said that Kanbay offers technology to financial services sector and capital markets. Companies want a technology vendor to partner and suggest proactively how to a go about deploying not just technology but address solutions. Kanbay plans to pool in resources from across the company, which would also include domain experts bringing in cross-functional expertise to the innovation centre.

The Hyderabad centre encompasses R&D, business intelligence and testing centres and a lot of consultancy.
