Cognizant revenue, net up

CHENNAI: Cognizant Technology Solutions on Monday reported a rise of 56 per cent in net profit to $40.6 million for the quarter ended September 2005 compared to $26.05 million for the corresponding period in the previous year.

Revenues rose 52 per cent to $235.5 million ($155.43 million). Operating margin for the quarter was 20 per cent, a company statement said. The company expects revenues for the quarter ending December to be at least $252 million, while revenues for the full year would be at least $881 million.
