UTV to distribute 3 new films

MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of three yet to be released films co-produced by Ramesh Sippy Films and Adlabs promoted Entertainment One.

The three films are Bluffmaster, Taxi No. 9211 and Rooh, slated for release in five months.

"This has to be seen in a broader context where different companies with respective strengths are coming together to create value," a news release said quoting Mr Ronnie Screwvala, Chairman, UTV said.

Ramesh Sippy had directed films such as Sholay, Shaan, Shakti and Seeta Aur Geeta.

Entertainment One, the wholly owned subsidiary of Adlabs Films Ltd, has produced films such as Munnabhai MBBS, Gangaajal and Waqt.
