Announcements Logistics - Roadways Oriental Structural bags 3 highway projects Our Bureau
New Delhi , Dec. 16 ORIENTAL Structural Engineers Pvt Ltd has bagged three projects worth Rs 957 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to construct national highways at Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Agra (Uttar Pradesh), and Kondali (Maharashtra) on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. The company plans to invest Rs 140 crore and complete these projects in 30-36 months. The concession agreements would be signed shortly, said a release. The projects involve improvement, operation and maintenance, including strengthening and widening of the existing two-lane carriageways of the Indore-Khalaghat Section of NH- 3 in Madhya Pradesh, Agra-Bharatpur Section of NH -11 in Uttar Pradesh, and Kondhali-Talegaon Section of NH-6 in Maharashtra into four-lane dual carriageways. The cost for each of these projects is Rs 550 crore for NH-3, Rs 195 crore for NH-11, and Rs 212 crore for NH-6.
