Google's tribute to Louis Braille

HYDERABAD: Google site opens to dotted patterns unlike its traditional Google insignia.

These dots refer to Google in Braille. It is Google's way of paying tribute to Louis Braille, coinciding his birth anniversary. He was born on January 4, 1809.

And, interestingly, when you click on these dotted patterns you get all information related to this great man, whose contribution has made a difference to the way the visually-challenged learn.
