Rajiv Kaul joins Actis as partner

New Delhi, April 6

Private equity fund manager Actis Capital LLP has said it has hired Mr Rajiv Kaul from Microsoft Corporation as a partner based in London. Mr Kaul will oversee the technology sector at Actis and increase coordination between India, China and South East Asian nations, a company statement said. Actis, which oversees about $3 billion, was previously part of CDC Group Plc, an investment company owned by the British Government. Actis was bought out by its managers earlier in 2004.
