Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software VisualSoft Q4 income, net down Our Bureau
Hyderabad , April 25 VisualSoft Technologies suffered a fall in both revenues and net profit for the fourth quarter of 2005-06. The company recorded total revenues of Rs 28.95 crore (Rs 51.44 crore) and net profit of Rs 4.07 crore (Rs 7.02 crore) for the quarter ended March 2006. Against total revenues of Rs 192.87 crore and net profit of Rs 28.33 crore for 2004-05, revenues for the fiscal gone by were lower at Rs 163.91 crore while net profit was down at Rs 20.20 crore. The dip in performance is partly being attributed to the failed merger of VisualSoft and Applabs. Consequent to the withdrawal of merger proposals, the company is in the consolidation process organically. VisualSoft had hived off its non-core business during the third quarter of the fiscal gone by; after factoring these issues, it had indicated revenues of Rs 150 crore and net profit of Rs 20 crore for the year.
