Systimax plans centre in Bangalore

The US-based Systimax plans to set up an executive briefing centre in the city in June. It will be built to offer an option to set up an R&D team, said Mr Ispran Kandaswamy, Vice-President and Managing Director, Systimax Solutions, APAC.

Systimax offers copper and fibre optic cables, software for management of network cable infrastructure and WiFi connectivity. This will be the company's third facility in APAC for educating and demonstrating to customers, business partners and the media about the products. The other two are at Brisbane and Shanghai.

The company also plans to double the headcount in India to 30 by end of this year. A sales office in Pune is also in the offing, said Mr Prasanna Kumar V., Director - India & SAARC, Systimax Solutions.
