Zensar bid to strengthen EAS biz

Zensar Technologies has announced it will enter the Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) space with a view to strengthening its existing Enterprise Application Services business. A company statement said the Enterprise Applications Services business unit would offer BI and DW services that wouldfocus on strategic transformation to effect integrated business value rather than tool-based implementations. The statement, from Mr Nitin Parab, Senior Vice-President and Head, Enterprise Applications Services, said the move wouldhelp customers bridge the gap between their business and information technology. The statement said the company's new services would target the global market for these services currently pegged at an estimated $ 2.5 billion in 2004 and expected to touch $ 2.9 billion by 2009.
