Airport gets ISO 9001 extension

Mangalore Airport has been issued with ISO 9001:2000 certificate for three more years from June 30. A press release by Mr M.R. Vasudeva, Airport Director, Mangalore, said here that the quality management system (QMS) of Airports Authority of India, Mangalore Airport, was re-assessed by Intal Quality Certification Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, between June 20 and 22. The certificate of compliance for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standards has been issued for a period of three years from June 30, it added.
