Cisco targets IT hubs

Our Bureau

New Delhi, Nov. 21

In order to promote network security products among ITES companies, Cisco Systems is targeting IT hubs in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. With the objective of educating companies in compliance framework and its requirements, the company would be offering consultancy services on the subject. "US and UK companies would prefer to do business with companies who follow certain guidelines for data protection and other security measures.

So for many of the Indian ITES companies working for UK and US and aspiring to get more business from these countries, having such regulations would work to their advantage," said Mr Mohit Mehrotra, Business Development Manager, ITS, Cisco.
