ANTI-LABOUR POLICY UNDER FIRE: Activists of the All India Trade Union Congress protesting against anti-labour policies of the UPA Government in the Capital on Thursday. — Ramesh Sharma

New Delhi, Nov 23

The Left party affiliated trade unions on Thursday staged a major demonstration here to protest against the anti-people policies of the Government such as the failure to bring about land reforms and failure to bring price rise under check. "We are serving a notice to the Government.

If the Government does not listen to these voices, they will have to face us on the streets,'' the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India, Mr A. B. Bardhan said. The demonstration was jointly organised by the All-India Trade Union Congress and the Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Sangh.
