Mr C.J. George, Managing Director of Geojit Financial Services Ltd, has been selected for the `Dhanam Businessman of the Year Award 2006'.

Mr George, who built a fast-growing financial services company in a short period, won the award for his commendable achievements and pioneering initiatives in the last one year.

Mr Kurian Abraham, Editor of the Dhanam business magazine, said that the award would be presented to Mr George by the State Industries Minister at the Dhanam Business Summit and Award Nite to be held at Taj Residency here on Friday.

Awards for the top 20 brands selected through a scientific survey conducted by the Rajagiri School of Management Studies on behalf of Dhanam will also be presented on the occasion, he added.
