NDTV announced on Saturday the appointment of Mr Sanjay Trehan as the CEO of NDTV Convergence, a separate company under the NDTV Networks Plc umbrella. Convergence houses all the dotcom and mobile properties of the NDTV Group and is a wholly owned subsidiary of NDTV Networks Plc. In his role as CEO of NDTV Convergence, Mr Trehan will work to build on the existing strengths of NDTV.com. He and the entire dotcom team have been given the mandate to increase the scale of operations in the Internet and the mobile content industry. NDTV Convergence will aim to build a synergy between all NDTV channels and the Internet.
