Thiruvananthapuram April 23 The Dubai-based Emirates Airline has unveiled its new range of in-flight entertainment options for children. According to Mr Sreeram Padmanabhan, Sales Manager, South Kerala, Emirates, the airline's new range of in-flight goodies for children is already available on long-haul flights from Dubai to destinations in Europe and the US. The products will be introduced on flights to other destinations, including India, in phases. The airline is also rolling out a new children's menu on board its flights, he added. As part of its new in-flight entertainment package for children, Emirates has created a soft toy called `Querk'. This toy comes in five variants and is also available as glove puppets for infants. The airline has also created a new two-in-one magazine for children. One section of the magazine will be called e-Kids and is intended for children in the 8-11 age group while the second section called 3,2,1 is for children in the 3-7 age group, Mr Padmanabhan explained. Books featuring stories by Dr Seuss, games, colouring pencils and eyeshades for children are some of the other contents of the airline's new in-flight children's pack. Products will be rotated so children enjoy more variety on each flight, he added.
