Sony unveils 3G gaming device

Bangalore April 29 The PS3 is here. Sony India has announced its third generation of gaming device featuring a 60-GB hard disk drive, Wi-Fi and the Blu Ray disc drive is now available in stores for Rs 39,990.

The entertainment system runs on an advanced processor called the Cell Broadband Engine and a new wireless controller, the SIXAXIS.

This allows gamers to physically turn, twist and bank their controllers to command the on-screen action.

PS3 peripherals including SIXAXIS wireless controllers (Rs 2,990), Blu-ray remote control and HDMI cable (each cost Rs 1,990) are also available.

Built-in network capability allows the PS3 owner to enjoy online game play and even surf the Web through the playstation network.
