Zee board approves ZeeNext

Mumbai, July 18

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd informed the BSE on Wednesday that the company’s second general entertainment channel, ZeeNext, has been approved for launch by the board of directors of the company. The new channel would be targeted at the youth. It would cover various genres of programming encompassing thriller, comedy and action among others. The note added that ZeeNext despite being youth-centric would not alienate the higher age group. The company’s sh ares on Wednesday closed at Rs 326.60, down 2.74 per cent from the previous day’s close.
