BEA tops in server software space

Coimbatore, Aug. 13

BEA Systems has been identified as the leader in Indian application server software space by independent analyst group IDC. The IDC report reveals that BEA Systems, with a market share of 30 per cent in the Indian application server software, has beaten global players in the middleware market, during the second half of 2006. The company has been doubling its growth year-on-year with customers recognising the need to invest in service-oriented architecture (SOA). “The re is tremendous opportunity and our growth reiterates it,” Mr Shailender Kumar, Country Head, BEA Systems, said.
