HCL’s career centre in Bangalore

Bangalore, Aug. 22

HCL Infosystems Ltd launched HCL Career Development Centre (HCL CDC), its 30th in the country, in Bangalore today. The company has ventured into IT training and career development to meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals across the industry. It plans to launch 100 CDCs in the next 12-15 months, according to Mr S.T.M. Eswar, Head, HCL Career Development Centre. They operate in three areas: individual learning centres, enterprise learning centres for corporate s and institutional learning centres in academic institutions. The CDCs offers a three-month full-time and a one-year part-time course apart from a range of modular courses. Course fee for the programmes is between Rs 10,000 and Rs 60,000, Mr Eswar said. The programmes are targeted at tech graduates (BE/BTech/MCA), post-graduates (MSc), degree holders and plus-two pass candidates, Mr Eswar said. —
